Heavy Fabrication
Airport Ground Support Equipment
Challenge: Airport ground operations needed mobile staircase units — heavy-duty equipment built to withstand continuous outdoor, tarmac-side use.
Solution: MEDS India carried the equipment from structural design through to finished, mobile units entirely in-house — structural steel frame, fabrication, welding and assembly.
Scope: Structural frame design, heavy fabrication & welding, assembly, mobility fittings.
Materials: Structural steel, welded fabrication.

Water Vending Machine — MEDES WVM-Alfa
Challenge: Design a fully self-contained, public-facing water vending machine — IRCTC-approved for rail/public deployment, with electrical controls safely isolated from the water system.
Solution: MEDS India engineered the MEDES WVM-Alfa end-to-end — total body & frame in SS, complete multi-stage purification and RO+UV treatment train, remote-controlled dispensing and online data generation, with a dedicated isolated electrical panel room.
Scope: Footprint 6×5 Ft, 8 Ft height, 30 Sq.ft total footprint. Raw water storage tank, filter feed pump, pressure sand filter, activated carbon filter, micron cartridge filter, anti-scalant dosing system, high-pressure pump, RO system (250 LPH), UV disinfection, RO treated water storage (HDPE 275 Ltrs), chiller storage & chilling unit (220 Ltrs), 4-tap vending unit with remote control & online data generation, and reject water storage (HDPE 100 Ltrs). A spacious operator room gives access to three sides of the unit with a lockable door for the WVM, RO and chiller control panels, with three separate access/entry points for maintenance and two closed dust bins to keep the premises clean.
Materials: Stainless steel body & frame, SS 304 chiller tank, HDPE storage tanks.
Result: An IRCTC-approved water vending machine with a fully automatic RO control panel that monitors water quantity, TDS & pH with remote-control operation and data generation, and a separate closed 3 kW electrical panel room isolating all power controls from water.
